We are thrilled to announce that Apex Leadership Co. is back again this year to help Parker PTO and the school with another exciting fundraiser! Our kids really enjoy this school-wide fundraiser, and we are grateful for the partnership with Apex.

Through Apex’s services, our students will:

  • Receive an Apex shirt to wear on the day of the Fun Run
  • Learn about fitness, leadership, and life skills in the weeks leading up to the Fun Run while getting them excited for the event
  • Be provided with a simple-to-use platform, helping students, parents, and caregivers with fundraising efforts from November 3 to November 14
  • Setup and facilitate an age-appropriate obstacle course at the school on the day of the Fun Run, November 14, for students to complete laps to raise money for our school (last year, for example, the kids were so excited to run through a series of inflatable obstacle courses as they ran laps around the school field)

Be on the lookout for more when we get closer to the event. In the meantime, here’s information to help you prepare:

  • Why: This year, our goal is to use the money raised by the Fun Run to support essential curriculum needs. Also, each grade level will receive a percentage of the funds raised that teachers can determine how to use for their classrooms. For reference, last year we were able to supply every classroom with a brand new smart board by partnering with the school to use funds raised by Apex.
  • When and who: From November 3 to the Fun Run on November 14, students fundraise with their extended family and friends by asking for donations for their participation in the Fun Run. Students will run through 6 different blow-up obstacles over 25 minutes to try to reach their goal of 42 obstacles.
  • How: Supporters can either donate a straight dollar amount or designate a dollar amount per obstacle students complete during the obstacle course Fun Run event. Most students end up completing roughly 36 – 42 obstacles. Fun Run donations are all handled through Apex’s simple platform.
  • Where: The event will be held at the school, and more details about the event, volunteer opportunities, and when you can watch your student participate will come closer to the event.
