Parker Teacher Appreciation Week Celebration Days

This time of year, lots of grown-ups ask how they can show their students’ teachers support during Teacher Appreciation Week. Here are two ways to show them some love:

1️⃣ Make a donation to the PTO to help fund Teacher Apprciation Week!

The theme of Parker’s Teacher Appreciation Week is “Our Teachers and Staff are WICKED Oz-Some!” We love our teachers so much that we aren’t satisfied with just one week of Teacher Appreciation Week, so we made it two! Also, we have a lot of field trips and workshops coming up in the next two weeks, so we had to get crafty. 😉

We’re gifting our teachers and staff with specially themed t-shirts, breakfast, coffee, treats, lunch, and more sprinkled throughout the next two weeks.

Every dollar counts and helps us make our teachers and staff feel extra loved and appreciated.

2️⃣ Write them a kind note of thanks. Don't forget your music, CCR, resource, TA, office, nurse, and any other staff member! 

3️⃣ Bring them a special treat: Check your teacher’s Favorite List and or Amazon Wish List on the PTO website for gift ideas. Staff favorite list and classroom wishlist are available here. 

Tips for a great note:
✔️Include the teacher or staff member's name and grade
✔️Be specific! Tell us why they are the best of the best
✔️Let them know who the note is from!
