- A social is a great way to raise funds for Parker PTO and a fun opportunity for our community to get together. 100% of the proceeds go back to PTO. Socials are hosted by Parker families and can be for adults, kids or both.
- The hosts sets the date, price, number of attendees, and cover the cost of the event. Events can be open to all or certain grade levels.
- Fall Socials are held in October, November, and December
- Spring Socials are in February, March, April, May, and June
Socials can be for kids and/or adults, will have limited space, and be available for purchase online starting October 1st at 7pm
Adults/Kids Socials:
Beginners Latin Salsa Dance- October 11th at 7pm $10/person
Salsa for Beginners class. Whether they’ve never danced before or just want to brush up on moves, this class will teach the basics of salsa dancing in a relaxed and social atmosphere. Through simple footwork and partner patterns, making it easy for everyone to get on the dance floor. No partner or experience needed.
Grades/Ages: All
X-Shot Blastoff - November 16th from 2:00-3:00pm $5/person
Bring the family for a one-of-a-kind event. Where kids and adults will enjoy family fun using hypergel x-shot blasters. These blasters are safer than NERF with no ocean up and no need to chase down your ammunition. Kids and adults will practice their precision and maneuvering through an obstacle course while keeping their eye on the target. This activity is recommended for ages 6 and up. Participants will receive a lesson on how to utilize the blaster and re-load if needed.

Kids only Socials:
Taylor Swift Music Video Workshop- November 2nd- $20/child
2:00-4:00pm for 2nd & 3rd Graders
4:30-6:30pm for 4th & 5th Graders
Come learn a choreographed performance to a Taylor Swift song and film it music video style to keep for your records. Perform for guests on a stage (Wildfish Theater) at the end of the session.
Grades: 2nd & 3rd Grade and 4th & 5th Grade
1st Grade Outdoor Movie Night- November 7th at 6:30pm- $10/child
Description: Grab your blankets and favorite stuffie for an outdoor movie night! We'll have a popcorn bar and drinks. Feel free to pull out your pool floats for comfy seating. There will be plenty of adult supervision so feel free to drop off your child.

Legos and Lollipops- November 17 at 2:00-3:30pm- $15/per child
Kids will learn how to make Lego themed lollipops. While the lollipops set, each child will get their own Lego set to build. At the end of the social, the participants will to take home their lollipops and Lego sets.

Pajamas and Pan Dulce- December 17th at 4:00-5:00pm- $5/child
Join us in the Parker Cafeteria for hot chocolate, pan dulce, and some winter crafts in your pajamas!

Adults only Socials:
Fall/Holidays Wreathmaking with Deco Mesh- October 20th from 4-6:00pm- $30
Learn to make a festive deco mesh wreath for Fall or Christmas (Holiday Season). Supplies will be provided.
Fotos with Friends - Photo Walk- October 25th at 6:30pm- $25
A lovely walk by the Willow Water Hole. Be a part of a practical and hands on one hour class taught by Patricia Peterson from Plum Tree Portraits on the principles of lighting, timing, posing, and composition to take better photos with your camera phone.
Mahjong 101- October 30th at 7:30pm- $40
Learn the exciting game of American Mahjong with a course led by a certified Oh My Mahjong instructor. Tiles and need supplies with be provided, so just come ready to learn and have fun! Light bites, sweet treats, and non-alcoholic beverages provided. Feel free to bring your own alcoholic beverage.
Dad’s Bourbon Night- November 8th at 7:00pm- $50
Join your fellow Parker Dads for a night of socializing. Appetizers will be served, and non-alcoholic drinks will be available.
Mahjong Night- November 8th at 7:00pm- $40
Cracks, bams and dots, oh my! Whether you’re new to Mahjong or have experience - come join us for a night of Mahjong, food, drinks (byob - non alcoholic beverages provided) and good company. Courtney Cook, an Oh My Mahjong, instructor will be there to teach everyone to play.
Bunco- December 6th at 7:00pm- $15
A tradition now at Parker! Join your fellow Parker parents for a night of Bunco fun plus a game of Left Right Center. If you have never played these games, no worries- it's super easy to learn. Your hosts will provide everything needed for a big night of Bunco, as well as adult beverages and a snack spread.
Wine Walk- December 20th at 7:30pm- $10
Let's kick off the winter break! Put on your leggings, favorite holiday top and your tumblers. Fill it with your beverage of choice. We'll be walking around the neighborhood checking out the holiday lights. Adult beverages and a light snack will be provided.
