SUBJECT: March Events, Book Fair, Family Night, and More!

Looking back at the first two full months of 2025, the Parker Community is starting things off on a high note! (Pun intended) šŸŽµ

We made our 2025 Viva Las Vegas Auction Gala a huge success and raised a significant amount of money for the PTO! We sold almost twice as many tickets for the Auction Gala as last year and raised around $15,000. Your generosity will help ensure every child at Parker is supported as they learn and grow. A huge thank you to our donors, bidders, attendees, volunteers, and all those who helped spread the word! You made it an unforgettable evening.

We also celebrated so many special moments, including:

  • January and February Teacher Appreciation – honoring our dedicated educators.
  • The Lunar New Year & Black History Month Celebrations – with beautiful presentations bringing our community together.
  • In partnership with the school, we purchased ViewSonic screens for every classroom teacher and more, using funds raised from the Apex Obstacle Course Fun Run.

Here's to striking another high note in March! šŸŽ¶šŸ¦

Get ready for an exciting week at the Parker Elementary Book Fair! From March 24 to March 28, students can explore a wide selection of books carefully organized by grade/age level! We will have special hours for students to shop independently or with their grown-ups. With easy payment options like gift certificates, e-wallets, credit cards, and even donations for those in need, it's the perfect opportunity to grab new reads.

Grown-ups, don't miss the fun – enjoy our Donuts with Grown-Ups on Monday or Tuesday of Book Fair week, and join us at Family Night when we move the Book Fair outdoors to shop and celebrate together!

🄰Teacher Appreciation🄰

Thank you, everyone, for sending our teachers sweet notes about why they are the MVP (Most Valuable Player). Just because February is over, you can always leave a special note by sending it with your child. You can find copies at the front office or on the PTO website under Teacher Appreciation.

You can always bring a staff member a special ā€œjust becauseā€ treat. The PTO website, under Faculty and Staff, lists teacher favorites and links to their wish lists.
