SUBJECT: April: Socials, garden work days, and Apex

Two great events have happened since our last newsletter, and I'm so pleased to share how successful they were! Plus we have all of the fantastic Socials planned for students and adults coming up.

I hope to see you all at our next PTO meeting on April 25. It is a great opportunity to meet other parents and let your voice be heard.

We have a great community of helping our PTO thrive and I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you for all you do!

With thanks,

Trisha Kennedy, PTO President

Raising $75,000 through Apex

For two weeks, our students learned from Apex about leadership habit and good character, while getting pledges for the obstacles for the obstacles the completed on the Obstacle Course Day on April 1. The $75,000 raised through Apex will go towards outdoor improvement including the completion of outdoor classroom & painting the Spark Park track. A big thank you to everyone who helps fundraise, our day-of volunteers and those who donated! APEX RISE UP- AS ONE!

Family Night and Book Fair

The Spark Park was packed on March 3 as over 500 people gathered for the Scholastic Book Fair and Family Night. Attendees were able to purchase books while enjoying live music from our community. We sold $25,611 worth of books and merchandise! Half of the proceeds will go to help Ms. Hokanson purchase new books for the Parker library. Plus, we raised an additional $2,000 from food sales to support all of the PTO's activities. It was such an amazing night to see our community gather together!

Spirit Night at Dish Society on April 20

Supporting Parker feels good and so does the delicious cuisine at Dish Society. Dish Society will donate 20% back of the sales if you mention Parker when you order when you dine in, get curbside or to go. If you order online, please use the code: SPIRIT. Note, delivery is not included for spirit night.
