Open House is an opportunity for teachers to communicate classroom expectations and an opportunity for parents to visit the classroom. Please be considerate of the teachers time and not that it is not a time for a conference, email your teacher or send a dojo message if you have a specific question about your child.

Socials are back again!  A social is a great way to raise funds for Parker and a fun opportunity for our community to get together. If you are interested in hosting or attending a social for students and family, take note of the following dates.  We have two rounds of socials, one in the fall and another in the spring. Sign up to host a fall social. 

Fall socials will be held in October, November, December, and January. 

• Tuesday, Oct 3: Host signup deadline
• Monday, Oct 9: Purchase a social beginning at 8:00 PM

We are launching our Apex Leadership Co fundraiser. Activities will take place at Parker from September 26-October 6!  We are raising money for Technology, Chrome Books, iPads and Software to help make our community a better place. 

October 6th: Fun Run Day!

Sept. 26th at 7pm- sign up to volunteer will go live. There are only 30 spots available per shift. Must be VIPS approved! 

• 7:45-8:45- PK & K
• 8:45-9:30- 1st Grade
• 9:30- 10:15- 2nd Grade
• 10:15-11:00- 3rd Grade
• 11:00:-11:45- 4th Grade
• 11:45-12:30- 5th Grade

Due to Picture Day conflict, October's PTO free dress day will be on WEDNESDAY, October 11th.

Individual picture day, students are allowed to wear free dress, following HISD dress code.

Be sure to order your class shirts. Parker PTO will be ordering class shirts for students to wear throughout the year and on field trips.This is only available for second, third, fourth, and fifth grade.  In order to view, your grade and homeroom teacher must be updated on Membership Toolkit.

Save the date for our third annual fall event, Trunk or Treat! This is a free Parker community event and kids will have access to some amazing, decorated trunks and games filled with treats.
